Why does the client have priority over task manager?

Honestly, who thought it was a good idea to do this? Sometimes my game freezes completely and I can't open my task manager to force-close it. What can I do??? Can I make my task manager have priority over the client? If yes, how?

Edit: I have to restart my entire PC when it happens and most of the times, I get low-priority queue. That's why it's a big problem for me.

Heres a tip that really works:

  1. Do you have windows 10? If so perfect!

Before you play a game of lol, do the following things:

  1. Press windows key + tab. This will open up ‘Desktop 2’ for you.

  2. While remaining on ‘Desktop 2’ : CTRL + ALT + DEL, select ‘Task Manager’

  3. Windows Key + Tab again. Select ‘Desktop 1’.

  4. While on ‘Desktop 1’, open and queue up for ranked in LoL.

  5. If in loadIng screen, you freeze, Press CTRL + ALT + DEL. Select ‘Task Manager’. You will automatically switch over to ‘Desktop 2’ since ‘Task Manager’ was opened there first.

  6. In ‘Task Manager’, you will find League Client and Loading Screen with old Logo which says ‘(Not Responding)’. End that task.

  7. Go back to ‘Desktop 1’. Reconnect to loading screen. You should be able to play the game now.

Note : Always keep ‘Task Manager’ opened on ‘Desktop 2’. Also, DO NOT switch over to ‘Desktop 2’ when your loading screen is about to pop up, then LoL will open up in Desktop 2, and that is NOT what you want! (You want LoL and Task Manager on different Desktops)

If the freezing happens again, rarely does it even twice in a row, you will repeat Steps 5-7. Hope that helped !
