Kassadin?

I love Kassadin but I'm not sure how to build him and what not. I know he is probably best in mid against most casters but what casters or mid laners should he never fight? (i know Yas is more than likely one)

Zed and Talon, both mobile enough to catch up to kass pre 6 and even after

That can be controversial based on the skill of both players, but because of kass's wasted magic shield due to playing against a zed or talon, I would think a trade would be harder against them

And build wise, what's best for Kass? (trying to perfect my build)

I've been doing AP and CDR.

In my experience as a swain main I tend to see kass build roa to deal with mama problems from his ult, and adding scaling scaling stats. I'm unaware of the strays for him other than that though, sorry

you go. first. rod of ages. then. you get a tear of goddess. then you get archangel staff. then standard items. I'd get zhonyas after archangel. because your ult depends on how much mana and AP you have. and these two items give you both and work in optimal synergy.a lichbane might be good because you do get in mele range. nice 10% cdr there and some mana too

it is. but when i build him i usually don't have that much cdr. i don't find use for him in morellos or nashors. and i like the sorcerer boots. and for me late game he usually dies after one rotation because you have to be so close so that everyone focuses your squishy ass. no time to rift out. unless you have zhonyas.

with kass you usually don't want to fight more than 1 at once unless you know you can beat both of them surely. and have your E up before you ult because your other spells do most of the damage your ult does a little and its for mobility.

also the lot of mana is good because you keep on stacking ult after usuing it and the mana cost skyrockets so you NEED a lot of mana. and you'd have more mana than your health by the end of this build. and around 800 ap or so. if not 900
