Small Fiddlesticks Rework Idea
Even though I'm a fairly new player, I've seen reworks of champions enough to know that Fiddlesticks' kit is pretty outdated. Three point and click abilities (one of which is literally skill that does nothing but CC), fairly reliant on ult, and a pretty useless passive. He doesn't really fulfill the idea of a "Harbinger of Doom," really, he kind of looks derpy and almost stupid while walking and his kit is kind of either ult to get into fights, or get close enough to use your abilities.
So here are some changes I thought of that might be interesting. The ideas I have down, but the stats might need some balancing.
Passive - Dread: After standing in place for 2 seconds, Fiddlesticks creates a clone of himself that starts moving around for a few seconds once vision is gained of him. The clone lasts for 90 seconds and the skill has a 30 second cooldown, scaling with cooldown reduction. This will help spook enemy junglers or enemies in general, possibly causing them to waste mana or skills in reaction. In addition, when Fiddlesticks actually comes into vision, some might just disregard him for a clone. This actually makes him more scary to see, especially in the jungle unexpectedly.
Q - Terrify: Fiddlesticks creates a scarecrow in a target location somewhere around him, fearing enemies away from the scarecrow. The scarecrow lasts for 4 seconds and is fairly small, so it isn't large enough to completely block pathways, but is big enough to cause some trouble walking around. Crows from Dark Wind can bounce off of scarecrows up to two times (or once, IDK), and isn't treated like a priority target. Range is slightly larger than current terrify. Fear duration is perhaps .25 to .5 seconds shorter. This will allow some synergy with his kit, so he can actually fear enemies towards him with a well placed scarecrow. Dark Wind can also synergize with it and help with single target damage that doesn't rely on fear + drain + auto attacks.
E - Dark Wind: Dark wind can bounce off of scarecrows from terrify, and will be treated as an extra unit hit and therefore consume one of the bounces. Scarecrows will be treated as low priority targets. This will allow greater single-target damage that doesn't rely on fear + drain + auto attacks, and help give him some unexpected extra range by being able to use Dark Wind on scarecrows to reach enemies beyond walls or farther away.
(Extra maybe change) W - Drain: Drain is now a tether skillshot similar to Karma's and LeBlanc's. After one second, the tether fully latches and Fiddlesticks heals normally, and is able to walk during both the latch and after it fully connects. Now his kit won't be so point and clicky, and he might have to use extra tricks to get enemy champions tethered (for example, fearing enemies away from their minions so they walk forward).
With these changes, Fiddlesticks' kit will be more skill oriented and actually synergize with his other skills. Instead of his ult requiring to keep up with enemies, fear pushing enemies away, and drain requiring enemies to stay near him while he stays still, he has greater skill expression and synergy, balanced by shorter CC times and perhaps even damage, since his winrates seem fine right now. He'll seem more scary then just the mid/lategame point-and-clicker/ult bot.
