Xayah is probably one of the best recently designed champions.

She's unique in that she can have piercing autos, and has control with her feathers, which beautifully interacts with her feather recall and ult. She has a semi-reliable CC that provides for her self peel (not to mention an untargetable ult), yet she isn't toxic to play against. Her range isn't short, but isn't long. She also has unique interactions with Rakan that, also, aren't toxic to play against.

She is super balanced, as according to op.gg, she has a 50.7% balance rate, which is pretty surprising considering most ADCs either do really well or don't.

She's probably the best example of and ADC who does well at all points of the game, but is never oppressive. You always have tools to shut her down.

She's fun to play as and against. I've never heard someone say or think, "damn, another Xayah lane." She doesn't super scale and becomes toxic to deal with like Kog, Twitch, and Vayne; she doesn't super win lane and is toxic to deal with early, like Caitylin, Jhin, MF, and Draven. That's not to say those champions have bad design, but that just goes to show how Xayah is so well designed, that she has a solid, stable winrate, isn't oppressive, and unique and fun to play with and against (the latter of which is rare amongst ADCs).
