Can somebody explain how an unranked top and a silver 4 jungler end up in my plat level game vs a team of high gold? I mean, praise god for Taliyah, girl did work, but like... What the hell is this matchmaking? Kindred was silver 4 when the match started and promoted two entire divisions off of this one win. I got 16 lp for it.

Tbh your bot lane won the game. They had no ADC that much was evident.
But both ADCs were plat last season.
Which goes to show you how USELESS riots MMR calculations are. It was a complete mismatch, their skill levels are worlds apart.
MMR calculations just aren't fit for task. Whatever they base it on hasn't changed since S1 whereas the gameplay gas changed, significantly.
I've played Vs and beaten diamonds.
I've played vs and been crushed by Silvers.
But the one thing I know what not to do, is feed. And that doesn't mean shit in MMR calculating factoring. Sadly.
The saddest part is the MMR 'grades you' and from then on matchmaking forces you into that equivilant grades league.
Shitty system made by souless money grabbing skin selling rats.
