Please fix ranked limitations - Taxing when friends aren't ranked together

Scenario: I have been playing with a group of real life friend for a long time now, in fact, I got them into league of legends. We formed a ranked 5s team to play together and improve our skills. Naturally, we are of different skill levels but we're roughly Upper Gold to Low Silver.

Now, we played a helluva lot of games together and started out with a B4-S3 spread when we finished our promos together last season. We played and won a lot and eventually, we were sitting B2-S1. This, of course, is where it started to really suck. We had a decision to make, try to keep pushing as a group and eventually, one game, just suddenly be unable to play together. On one hand imagine playing a full 3/5 with a group of friends to help them achieve gold and then being unable to queue. On the other, you have to stop playing with a comfortable group of people to try to push into a higher division so you won't get blocked.

I ended up getting gold and my friend got stuck in B1.

Now, this season, we STILL can't queue up to do our promos together. We had a group of five on tonight to start placements but we're just not allowed.

This seems REALLY punishing for people like us. I understand the reasoning behind the restrictions, of course, nobody wants to be silver and face a Master level adc. But for people who want to, and have, played together with success, having a block put on your group because you're doing well TOGETHER is just frustrating.

I would love to see a system where friends with lots of gametime together might be able to have slightly looser restrictions in case placements are goofy. This season, for these placements, we're forced to have one player just leave the group. Kinda sucks.[zombie-nunu-bummed]
