Riot will make some meaningful changes to the, currently underpowered, Thornmail!
Season 6 changes-
Thornmail Total cost increased to 2350 from 2300

you want to know the best way to fix an item no one uses
Ohmwrecker Gold cost increased to 2650 (up form 2600)

The need better build optimization for thornmail, I'm stuck with 1
and 1
which only gives us 55 armor until we can farm up 1250gold which is pretty crappy stats for such a long wait to build out thornmail
At least let us have two
chainmails which would give us 80 armor until we can farm up the last 800g
well marksman are clearly too weak and to emphasize the point Riot needs to destroy every item that possibly counters them in the new update to make them strong again.
Upvoted for the joke and the topic. :P Still I gotta explain you something, since this is the gameplay board:
Just because something seems to be a nerf, it doesn't mean it actually is a nerf. Take into account each and every other change that's happening. I think it's way too early to judge whether something is a nerf or a buff based off just the cost of the item. We also don't know whether the item will or won't get updated after the inital storm settles. I kinda feel like the amount of players complaining prematurely about the changes is way too high.
So I just have to wait about half a minute or kill an extra minion to receive my Thornmail....
This is what Riot does with their research on nerfs and buffs.
That's actually making it ~400 gold cheaper.
In s6, minions will be worth more gold, passive gp10 gives more gold, and shutdowns give more gold. Every item that's not losing stats is getting its price increased by ~500 to compensate. That makes thornmail significantly cheaper in comparison.
xDDD the picture fits the changes
Thornmail isn't underpowered you shitter
Essence Reaver
Price increased Crit added so the champs who actually want mana on hit aren't spending money on the right stats Mana on hit only works on crits now Still 720 gold to fix your mana problems and the rest of your gold goes to more efficient itemization
Underpowered items are meant to be shit I guess
I think it might be because there isn't any total %armor pen, now it's only %bonus armor pen, so AD damage to tanks is gonna get hit somewhat. I don't wanna do the math on the damage of the tank-killer thing, don't make me. EDIT: Oh duh, Black Cleaver.
