Got promoted a few days back... lost several games in a row and nothing happened.
Now got promoted, win 1 game, lose a game back to 0 LP. Lose ONE game at 0 LP and get demoted.
That system seems beyond illogical. It's almost better to go on a lose streak the second you get promoted. Otherwise if you win even 1-2 game after getting promoted you risk getting demoted off one lose at 0 LP.
Serevas2 votesDemotions are based on MMR. The titled ranks are irrelevant, which is why we should just get an Elo number and your rank is handed to you based on that if they really want to title it something, no promotional matches aside from into Master Tier.
It'll be a similar system to how people go from master tier to challenger without any sort of game winning requirement.

Zero Skill Tank1 votesAfter you get promoted, you have a few games of so-called "grace" period, during which you can not be demoted. Winning a game in your new division ends it.
Is it illogical? Yes. It's only there so you don't get angry with instant demotion too often.
