So about the new Shen

Garbage waveclear, even worse than before (no autoattack reset, no ranged target spell, nothing but autoattacks and empowered autoattacks with Q) No poke No sustain No sure way of mitigating damage (you actually need to wait the sword to hit you or the taunt to finish or the sanctuary to start, then the shield appears on you), shield is only useful when dueling and teamfighting

I mean I liked old Shen because I could pick him into ranged and poking guys and still farm easily and be relevant. Now you can only E-Q them at lvl 2 and hope you do something otherwise the lane is basically over after two minutes. Just farm at tower and wait for ults. How is new Shen going to farm against aids like Gnar or even worse the new Graves?

I think the only way for him to be good now is to have huge numbers so he will be broken, nerfed hard and then left to rot; same to what happened to Mordekaiser

I surely hope I'm wrong, but right now I have no reason to pick Shen into a ranged or pokey enemy

Or, you know, you play him well. This Shen relies heavily on correct skill usage and positioning

The New shen would lose lane to every match up that got Poke for Heavy sustain which Almost every top lane got now. may as well delete that champ

Since eveything he has is in his autos now he should get more autto range. the minimum auto range wont work for him anymore.

He lost his sustain + poke + ability to farm under tower and he gained... damage? I mean, come on, that's kinda pathetic lol

His model his bigger, so maybe they upped his range? DK

That's the riot remake way of life. Fix what isn't broken, turn it into a broken mass ball of stats then nerf if to oblivion.
