Why is scuttle so important

As a midlaner, old jungler I understand scuttle crab spawn times and how to get priority to help jungler get scuttle, but I'm confused why it is so impactful early game, I get the 70 gold is good, but why is the vision so good or are there other reasons for it being important cause for vision you just walk around it?

They shifted a ton of the exp from the early jungle into scuttles. It used to give 10 xp because it gave vision and gold. Now it gives vision, gold, and 11 to 21 times the xp on top.

They wanted to make the junglers fight more... for some reason, despite the fact that wasn't a thing for years and it was working perfectly fine.

Now, taking one side of the jungle doesn't get you to level 3. But instead of undoing that ridiculous change they decided to just make it so junglers don't get to 3 until they take the entire jungle, by making the scuttle not spawn until 3:15.

Since it's a contested camp, netting that XP and gold for your jungler is resources you deny the enemy jungler, so it's kind of worth double the amount of gold and XP it gives.

Not only does needing to path around the vision slow down the enemy jungler's ganks, it allows you and your jungler to roam to that side of the map faster due to the speed boost. Taking an early lead to other lanes is critical to helping your team snowball to victory, and faster roams makes that more effective.
