Man, why do so many people hate on AP mumu? you got CC and massive damage (full AP build my ult does 1k, before resists). I know he is normally a tank, and I can play him tank as well. But AP just rekts stuff up. /shrugs. I got several S+ grades as him (although if you know the grading system you would understand how that is so easy to get).
But man the hate I get for playing AP. lol

aaronautumn1 votesif you're ahead, it's a great build, but if you're behind tankiness would be preferable. of course team comp should also be taken into account, if you have other team mates that can fill the tank role then you can afford to be less beefy.

he is personally a great AP. idk what you talking about. and the tanks have to engage, if you are AP mumu, you aren't a tank.
but he engages just fine anyway with his Q stun and ult stun. gives plenty of time

My fave mumu build. I am tough as hell and I still hurt.
they have to focus me cause my E and W damage adds up very quickly, but beefy enough to where focusing me takes plenty of time off them going for my carries.

yea the mix of hp and AP is always good,
and yea, maxed out your w does like 200-300 damage per sec.
personally this is my favorite build, it (imo) offers the most AP and mp.

So looks like a lane mumu build (because why would you sell your jungle item tbh), but will be OoM very quickly in lane and in mid game. Mid-Late game you will be late in every rotation. If you get caught you are dead. You have no escape and even blowing your ult you have no MS to get away, or are worthless until ult is off cd if you manage to like flash to escape (no cdr either). Sure if you get 1 good teamfight late game you should win it, but at that point even being tanky mumu getting a good ult will win a teamfight.

I can see how you think that, but full build I don't need a jungle item to clear the jg, it all gets 1 shot. I figure my slow speed item (rod) as well as all the speed boost items I have make up for the boots, now you won't be as fast, granted. but it's all fine imo. also you won't run out of mana very fast. but /shrugs
