Can I just start in bronze?

I don't really enjoy placement games due to the weird team balances and wide gap in skill ranges that make for pretty unfun games.

I've had games where someone clearly just met the requirement to play ranked and doesn't really know how to play the game on my team and opposite them is a previous plat or diamond player who just wipes the floor with tje guy and runs the entire game into the ground.

Can I just opt to skip promo games and just start at B5 and work my up from there?
