What is it that makes Yasuo able to withstand so much?

Most of the time Yasuo builds squishy, full damage. However, there is always something that makes him able to withstand so much damage to where he basically just e's through your whole team without barely taking any damage despite 2-3 adcs attack him as well as hitting abilities.

What is it in his kit that makes him able to sustain so much damage all the time? I've never been able to figure it out since there are other champions with shields and they get instapopped so why would yasuo be any different?

His passive gives him a free shield that soaks up most of the initial damage

Ambivalent, out of touch development staff.

between mallet either bork or bloodthirster and having upwards of 3 AA/sec with q and PD he is very hard to kill. not mentioning his free repositioning spel.

As a mele champ, when his shield is up you have to waste gap closers on him to take the shield down. You can't combo him when the shield is up, you have to wait for the shield to deplete. But in the mean time he's crit you 3 times got some lifesteal and dashed somewhere else. I would not be surprised if his shield is bugged to be honest.

I recall playing Rumble vs a Yasuo one time, I ulted Yasuo (in the late game) he stood in my ult for a good 1-2 seconds and it only just took off his shield. He then dashed to me and basically 100-0'ed me with 3 autos.

I'm just glad Yasuo is permabanned these days.

You spit on the shield first then one shot him.

Thats funny whenever i see yasuos jump into a full team that isnt cced he usually dies in under a second

Sounds like the teams you're seeing him play against don't know how to focus

The funny thing is that yasuo is listed as a fighter....List him as an assasin and lower his base stats...thats the only way i see for champs that can t fight him right now to catch up to him....he is an assasin with the durability of a buiser....that thing must be nerfed
