I really wish people would play ranked more serious

I can't speak for everyone because I know everyone has different experiences playing this game but more often in my games I run into people who play ranked like if it was just normals. Adc soraka/ mid teemo/ap lucian/ warwick support etc...

I know people can win games playing off meta or something crazy like ap mid thresh but it honestly makes the games so much fkin harder and it will fail more often than succeed. I cant force people to pick whats strong but I would imagine people who are playing ranked want to win and climb so why wouldnt you pick whats strong in the meta?

If I lose because the enemy was the better team I honestly have no problem but when I lose because some hipster wants to break the meta and then puts the team at a huge disadvantage it makes me so fkin salty.

Maybe they think some off meta build are strong and they want to test then in a competitive environment. There is a limit also for this, soraka adc never gonna work but maybe soraka mid can be effective. Off-meta are needed or the meta would get boring, but there is a difference between off-meta and crazy ideas.

I agree that you might want to look a little harder at sorakas going adc, since that seems like it just wouldn't work, but most of the time, when someone does that, they have practiced with it a lot. At least, I do. And when I take my girl anivia support, I usually win.

Yeah, those are stupid off meta things to do. My favorite off meta bot lane, which works wonders by the way, is the Snare Sisters (TM). Which is Lux and Morgana. It works, because if one of you hits a snare, both of you will, and that is 4-5 seconds, and allowing a full combo from the Lux to go off without any chance of missing. Extra points if you use your ult as morg on the end of the snares to stun the poor(most likely tanky or extremely dangerous) sucker for an extra 1.5 seconds of cc. So in total that is 6.5 seconds of cc, which is just enough time for whoever cast their snare first to be able to cast it again(if you have 40% cooldown)

As some of my teammates have said "Snare Sisters OP!" Great if you have an ad heavy team. And if you somehow lose lane, you have two supports now.

They also have a less polite moniker of Binding... Yeah, I'm going to let you fill that in.
