People are demanding Twitch to be buffed. Lets get Riots attention about it.
Two and 1/2 years ago Riot had to change Evelyn and
completely for one reason. having a stealth lasting for more than 20 seconds is too long so the whole stealth rules had to be changed. This was a very dramatic change for a lot of people and it did in fact
'd the forums very quickly when
's rework came. No one liked where Twitch was for the first 6 (if not more or less) months but I actually gave him a chance and studied him wondering if the people were right or not. more than Two weeks ago I did make a post about Twitch but it was mostly a rant and I didn't have time to make a big post but Now I have.
But that was two years ago and since then I had played him as my main ADC. And from my experience I feel it is now time to break my silence and share what I think should be done for him. In all out of my honesty and in a toxic way 4.12 or .10 (I think I can't remember at this time) was a dick move from Riot and unnecessary. I mean REALLY? changed the Stealth delays even higher after taking damage from 3 to 6 seconds? I mean
was Finally getting popular in Season 4 and they had to ruin it. Its not like Twitches "Breaking the Meta Role" was gonna last forever. Seasons change every year. and the only time they ever mess with
kit has always been a slight nerf as or as they like to call "an adjustment" in a long run to keep him from getting fed early game. but it feels more like they don't want him to get a single damn kill for the first 20 minutes while
on the other hand is getting ALL the feed off of minions to her hearts content while
gets nothing. So no Kills, no farming for 15-20 minutes is just not cool and this is one of the main reasons people are not playing him. I have been playing him less cause he's not fun any more. Because the disadvantages he has now is way too damn high. Its like watching
Farting right in his face point blank proving that her Stinky smell is worse than his. To
He would rather be damned then to allow anyone to be smellier than him. He would insulted and HE IS. What good is a late game champion that can't reach to his late game while other champs are WAY ahead of him by two or more full builds than him. You feel useless. Why should others have to bend over for
if he can't sync well with others? I think Every champion should have the ability to do well with 90% of allied champions. Lets face it guys. Having a champ that only has one combo is not a good taste even if you did trade well with him It take more skill play with him, It takes more partnership from your support AND your team mates. I mean who is really responsible for helping you get those early game kills in the first place? you couldn't have done that on your own so you HAVE to have had some help, right?
Sooooo I wanna make this topic official. I wanna throw in my Ideas that might help Twitch do better in his role as an ADC BUT I Also like the idea he should have more than one role. I am gonna leave the JANGLE stuff to you guys. I'll copy and paste whatever you guys have in mind below my ideas s well as his ADC role. Help me keep this Thread alive and at least get one Rioter to come in here and talk to us. An acknowledgment about him would make me feel better.
Here are my ideas. I am gonna Break it all down from left to right. Starting from Passive to ult. please take note that I do not want all of these ideas to happen, we don't want him to be op but WE do want him to be useful again. maybe his AA damage source could be more useful combo than where he is right now, down to nothing. I am thinking adding at least 2 new things on him would be great
"Passive: Deadly Venom - Twitch's basic attacks infect the target, dealing ~~1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 ~~ 2/3/4/5/6 true damage (at levels 1/5/9/13/17) true damage every second for 6 seconds, stacking up to 6 times."
Right now most you guys say they should revert the passive back the way it was before. I agree but I would also like to see this passive have at least two things. I'd think it's be a cool idea if it had either a slow percentage or armor pen per stack OR AD bonus damage based on level. In fact I like the idea if it added bonus damage based on stack (Still include it based on level). 5/10/15/20/25/30 or something like that. maybe it can scale with his AD. I'd like to see this passive support much more than just true damage and contaminate. Make this passive support his AA.
"Q: Ambush Cost: 60 Mana Range: Self Twitch becomes invisible for a short duration and, while invisible, he gains Movement Speed. When leaving invisibility, Twitch gains Attack Speed for a short duration. After 1.5 seconds of not taking damage or after 6 seconds, Twitch turns invisible for 4/5/6/7/8 seconds.Twitch gains 20% Movement Speed while invisible and gains 30/40/50/60/70% Attack Speed for 5 seconds after coming out of invisibility."
This ability has has pretty good mechanics but the only problem I have with it is the stealth delay. I think it should be reverted back to 3 seconds. because it is fair. I can't tell you how many times I would get ganked by Kha Zix and half the time he would get me. I think it's fair because it doesn't always mean he is gonna get a kill. but if Riot doesn't think so then I think that should open to some new doors. Boosting his AS, increase the AS duration OR give him bonus foot speed 2/4/6/8/10% based on Q level. This would actually give him a chance to run away because he has no other mobility built in to him.
"W: Venom Cask Cost: 50 Mana Range: 950 Twitch hurls a cask of venom that explodes in an area, slowing targets and applying deadly venom to the target. Twitch hurls a cask of venom that explodes in an area adding 2 stacks of Deadly Venom and slowing targets by 25/30/35/40/45% for 3 seconds."
This could be ok where it's at right now but if Twitch is not gonna get any additional foot speed from his Q I pointed out then the slow effect should be higher. 5-10% higher to all ranks. I also thought maybe having a Base AD damage and maybe scale it with AD at a reasonable %. But this could very well be left unchanged.
"E: Contaminate Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Mana Range: 1200 Twitch wreaks further havoc on poisoned enemies with a blast of his vile diseases. Deals 20/35/50/65/80 physical damage plus 15/20/25/30/35 (+20% Ability Power) ( 25% bonus AD) per stack of Deadly Venom to all nearby enemies affected by Deadly Venom."
(I am not too sure about the scaling AD and AP because some Web sites have different numbers. I am going to ignore that and just get to my point.) Alright so this one you guys will likely say this idea will be WAY too op for Twitch but I still like this idea for his late game whenever he max it out. I was thinking why not allow Contaminate have a 2 second cool down. if so then it would be fair to decrease the scaling so that the total damage isn't overwhelming. or maybe a reward damage by simply allowing it to have an instant refresh at stack 3 and if you reach to max stack then Contaminate gets an instant refresh so he can use it again. Again this would be a great rewarding damage that may encourage players to play him again.
"R: Rat-Ta-Tat-Tat Cost: 100/125/150 Mana Range: Self Twitch unleashes the full power of his crossbow, shooting bolts over a great distance that pierce all enemies caught in their path. For 7 seconds Twitch gains 300 Attack Range, 20/28/36 Attack Damage and his basic attacks become piercing bolts that deal 20% less damage to subsequent targets down to a minimum of 40% damage."
This one I have a high demand for. TWO THINGS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED IN HIS ULT! ONE THING THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE!
1.) Fix the glitch with in the ult that prevents you from damaging turret and inhibitor structures. Let me give you guys a tip on how to avoid this half the time for me. this Works half the time for me but if there are Creeps in between you may still have this problem. Walk out of ult range away from the inhibitor then click on the inhib once more. this will clear it right up. BUT if you don't wanna waist the ult duration then you might as well aim for minions. Better than wasting the damage if you don't have enough time for whatever reason.
2.) if use your ult like on Zed for example (you know? The ones that have to right in your face and take it THAT personal?) your Ult will never register because the ult is over shooting. The ult travel start at the tip of Twitch's Crossbow so it's like an over shooting ult. Basically Zed is between him the the ult fire. This HAS to change.
3.) one thing that needs to change is the Ult name. "Rat-ta-tat-tat" Back to Spray and Pray. I don't care if it's a reference to a Pokemon or what ever it's meant for. It makes 0 sense to me and his ult is not always a rapid fire type.
tl;dr: What's good for Twitch's late game if you keep slightly increasing his disadvantages in the long run by not allowing him to reach late game while everyone else gets all the free farming/kills early game and not tough him for months as the Game Season continue to change?
