Is it just me or is Nami kinda (indirectly) strong now?

With the new runes, essentially games are a helluva lot more one sided. Nami, having the kit that she does kinda benefits from this since not only is she actually really good at working off really fed allies, also seems to be quite good at dealing with really fed enemies. I literally played 5 games of her in a row, and the lowest amount of assists was 19 and 2 of those games I had 30. I can't really see anything specific in the runes that directly benefit her as much as some other supports might but I thought, man she's actually so good now.

Don't wanna brag but, I just hit MR5 before the 5 win streak and now I literally got MR7 on Nami overnight cuz of the "ease" to work off snowballing and "ease" to stop enemy snowballing

She's always been able to do this, even on bad players. Her kit, like any healer, lends well to picking up huge kdas, because her heals count toward assists up to like 15 seconds after they are used. Furthermore, your ults easily hit 2-5 at a time, and your E actively is used on other players, so it's super easy to get assists.

That doesn't mean good, better, etc. If you ask me, Aery Nami is probably about the 4th best Enchanter to use it on, and more for the damage than for the actual shields.

I've already had a completely troll team with Nami post Rune change, where my entire team was int feeding/instructed by mid to stay at fountain to speed up game....... I went 3/0 because I've known Nami Mechanics since season 6.

What I can tell you is: -Nami no longer will do insane heals if you choose the correct rune setup for her (Resolve's Guardian is actually weak vs using Domination's Taste of Blood/Ravenous Hunger, because Heal bounces will proc 3 heals on you, giving much more self heal than the 5-15% heal buff will, especially on an Ebb that hits 2 enemies). In a good length game, you can maybe expect about 40 cc and 20k heals now. But, she's still in "just a good place." not broken.

She's always been able to do this I know ("this" as in work off snowballing and stop snowballing) but like, doesn't that make her indirectly stronger due to the extreme snowball-ness of games now with the new runes?

No. not really. Her heals are weaker, and her access to CDR is lower since it's on a tree of runes that isn't really the best tree for a secondary. If she picks up the CDR boost, she loses the opportunity for self sustain or the opportunity to boost her heals. There's no real middle ground. Also, she's far more prone to popping from assassin hits, which are arguably overtuned atm (I took the advice of another Evelynn player and took phase rush last game, and I was literally killing people without ult in 1v1 after 1v1..... there wasn't a Nami, But I was popping a Gangplank, an Orianna, and a Fiddle..... champs with sustain and decent HP).
