Irrelevant Champions in Ranked Play

I know that this could never really happen but what if in a perfect world in Solo Que certain champions who have just not stood the test of time were removed completely? I constantly find myself frustrated to the point of making posts like this due to my team mates selecting champions that bring really nothing or much less than one of its counterparts to the table, a lot of times in the jungle position.

For example Nunu andShaco both have somewhat of a niche in the pool of junglers, however they really can't compete with oh say....
Amumu JarvanIV {Sejuani Hecarim Udyr Vi who are all relevant throughout the entire game in all aspects of it for the most part.

Games where low tier junglers are pitted against once of those above are more often than not "lost in champion select" at my very lowly elo and i think that realistically, if somewhere in game champions could be ranked into tiers for every new patch so my low elo brethren could see which champions are currently effective at their roles and which are not currently could be beneficial to gameplay.

If you want to force others to pick only what you find acceptable, captain a Ranked Team. Otherwise, it's up the the players what to choose. Be glad they pick within the meta most of the time.

What exactly do you mean by not standing up to the test of time? Not being meta for "1" season?

Nunu has been played at the competitive level in a wide range of rolls. You might note there's an LCS championship skin for him, as in he was one of the picks that won at worlds. Beyond being a solid support, he's also been a very contested jungler due to his prowess at objective control and counter-jungling.

So what if he's not one of the top-tier 100% pick/ban junglers this season? Minor changes to itemization, masteries, or the jungle that slightly favor counter-jungling by like, 5%, could easily place him in a top-tier position.

You're only in silver.

Most of those games are determined by moral and leavers over specific picks. I've seen some pretty off picks work.

Don't read to much into what your allies pick.

Also - the meta is usually behind what champions really are the best picks. Fizz was widely regarded as useless and outclassed by everyone because he was universally understood as a top-lane pick. Then assassins like Zed went middle with season 3 itemization and it turned out Fizz was objectively pretty OP and needed a lot of nerfs.

If you don't believe in your teammates you're killing a decent amount of teamwork and moral, and you could also be preventing yourself from having the next support Annie craze and loose out on hipster points.

Good shacos will camp every lane early and one-shot carries late.
