I can't even land it at all.... Anyone like yasuo can just dash around the minions so fast that before the stun even pops up he's across the lane.... The century delay on the stun doesnt help at all either

Anyone know how i can actually train with Veigar's E? Ive played him for 3 games and i couldnt land a stun 90% of the time cause the delay is enormous...

They made Veigar's E impossible to hit in lane against a competent opponent. But, it's pretty good still in teamfights if the enemy clumps up together. Just throw it in the middle of everyone.

Pro tip: You don't actually NEED to hit the stun itself most of the times.

Most of the times you just need to place it on top of the enemy, making them either: A. Try to escape the box and end up getting stunned B. Stay in the center, where you can land an easy Dark Matter because if they try to escape it's radius, they will 90% of the time run into the walls of the box

Remember, your E itself isn't just a stun, it's a MASSIVE zoning tool Oh, and don't forget that, say, if you see a Rengar ult mark on you, you can just box yourself in, and he will just get stunned mid jump if he tries to kill you, resulting in an easy kill.

Use it as a cage, not a stun.

Later, you can try to predict their movements so they run into your stun right when it appears, or trick them into thinking they can run out

Veigar's massive AoE stun is one of the most overpowered skills in the game. It's better than several ults (Ex: JarvanIV Cataclysm and Thresh The Box)

  1. Play him more than 3 games. Personally, when I am interested in starting a new champ and really want to invest in it, I consider I need at least 10-15 games to really see how it works.

  2. Your E is not for actually stunning them, it's a way to say "Don't go there or I kill you", and to gain time to do something else. Very useful in team fights, to split a team in two, or stuff like that, or in lane for preventing a gank. But not very good for actively killing someone, unless they make a mistake first. Then you can punish them hard.

  3. In lane, don't try to kill people (and so you don't need your E). Just farm. Once you are level 6, maybe try to roam, or ask for a gank if your jungler has some CC, but that's not mandatory. Farming is good. Blood is over-rated, don't focus on kills. Focus on winning the game, by playing for objectives, but this comes after laning phase. Try to put your E around a tower your team is sieging, and see if the enemy team comes near it to defend it.
