About the new Gangplank

So I just got finished listening to the new lines (You can listen to them by clicking the link above and switching his quotes from "Live" to "PBE.")...I don't like them (or his new voice).

Hear me out, here. I'm not opposed to change. I've been dying for a change in GP's gameplay, seeing as how his team-fight potential and style of gameplay were severely limited. And I appreciate those changes tremendously. The wheels are turning with how best to capitalize on his kegs and ult.

But Gangplank, himself, just feels...well, not much like a pirate anymore. His voice now lacks the nautical pirate accent the old Gangplank's voice had. His laughter is rather bland, there isn't a single "Yarrrr!" in his vocabulary, and many of his lines feel overly saturated in the same kind of drivel. I get it--a more serious, less stereotypical pirate without all of the stereotypical lines was wanted...but did it all need to be removed? Sure, he could have used some lines for when he placed Powder Kegs, but as with other champions who do similar things and remain silent, it wasn't necessary.

Also, I know I'm gonna catch a lot of...fire for this one (pardon the pun), but why was a visual update needed on him? He legitimately had one of the best visual appearances (especially in comparison to his older model) in League. It certainly can't be because one wanted a little fire to be added to his sword...his other skins don't show a trace of it (from what we're shown here, anyway).

Look...as mentioned before, I'm not opposed to change. His kit needed a rework, and it's much appreciated. But his visual appearance and voice were fine as they were.
