This game feels worse than ever.

I'm not sure what it is, and I don't really care to think about it anymore. Plenty of people have said their peace and given their reasons why the game feels worse. Less individual player agency, games feeling shorter, every champ is a "burst" champ, mobility creep, abhorrent matchmaking full of smurfs, boosters, boosted accounts, duo abusing to boost etc. Preseason feels even worse, as it doesn't seem to have addressed any of these issues.

All I know is, I'm having less fun than ever playing this game. And even after taking a few months off only playing a couple games here and there, it doesn't seem to have gotten better. My next break might just be my last. I'll probably keep up with the game from the pro scene, but playing the game just feels bad, and has for a while.

You're not wrong. Gradually the boards seem to become more and more negative, with less and less response from Riot (it's a vicious cycle).

If Riot had more business sense, they'd realize that the people who bother to write on the boards are people who, for the most part, are the people who care the most about this game. Yet they continue to ignore us.

Unfortunately, it would take nothing less than a huge drop in the playerbase to get Riot's attention. I'm not one to hold out hope for that any time soon, but my days go so much better without league.

Honestly I played one game today and am contemplating waiting a few months until Riot comes up with a solution. I don't know why but since the patch hit the games feel 10x more boring than they did the day before.

I'm honestly thinking of quiting as hard as it will be.

Most of my friends stopped playing because they are driven to their limit by other players who are clearly addicted to this game and just flame everyone who doesn't play the way they want them to.

The state of the game is becoming colossally worse with every season.

Every streamer that I watch either quit playing the game or are forced to play this shit game because they dedicated themselves to this career and now the majority if not all of them are incredibly miserable when ever they have to play it.

While I won't be able to quit immediately, I will start off by playing it less frequently. Maybe even just stick to only playing on the weekends with just one ARAM game or something.

I feel bad for those who have been playing since Season 1 and have had to watch this game collapse to whatever it's supposed to be now.

I didn't like this season AT ALL, and the only good thing was a recent ryze game I had where I solo carried. All my jungle games felt like shit but mid is even better than it was before.

This preseason has been better than the entire season 9 imo. Lethality got nerfed, mountain got buffed, support abuse got fixed. It sucks they introduced Sanguine blade but everything else seems pretty decent.

Youre kidding right?

They lowered the bonuses that fire dragons give, they increased the healing from Ocean drake, they reworked Mountain Drake into bonus resistances and a shield. The only thing they fucked up was giving Elder Dragon an execute, and changing the cloud dragon for no reason.

The changes like the alcoves and drake map really add nothing to the game.

The only positive thing bout elder drake its equal in value for both teams bow that it doenst buff the other drakes you got. If youre losIng and your team secures the elder dragon, you can turn a teamfight around and make a comeback, but imo, the execute should be changed into something more healthy.

Other than that, this seasons looks a little better, which is a step into the right direction.

Hey hey, it's not just because pre-season 8 and pre-season 9 were both awful, and Riot didn't care nor listen for sh, and then both the two Seasons were actually disgusting, that you should be worried about this pre-season being even worse than the 2 previous ones combined together.
