Does Riot really consider these teams to be close to even and fairly matched?

This match ended in a remake, but if you were to guess which team would win, who would you put your money on? What odds do you think each team has?

Red team has Blue team beat in almost every metric. The algorithm for matchmaking may have these teams as close enough to even, but I'd bet 75/25 on Red team. Maybe more. Why?

Look at the Ranked win ratios for each team, as well as the S7 placements. Ignore MMR (it's op.gg and isn't 100% accurate anyway on MMR).

i expected this to be a normal with some silver vs some diamond dudes. what you got seems pretty fairly matched tbh.

This seems like a fair match. The people here are in silver 3-gold 5. Thats within 3 tiers, so i dont think this is unfair. The only unranked guy there was also silver last season, so i dont think this is unfair in any way.
