Ziggs is unplayable RIOT please state if this is intended

Ziggs changes missed the problem

At the moment Ziggs is unplayable due to the fact his main source of damage (Q) can be dodged without the enemy even attempting to dodge the ability. His Q consistently bounces through champions. This can be seen happening on champions with small models and even champs with very large models (most tanks). In return leaving the player puzzled when his Q goes right through the midsection of the enemies body. I no longer play Ziggs due to this issue or perhaps bug he currently has and I also believe this is why he no longer sees play. RIOT can you please state if this is intended, I will appreciate it. -Thank you

There is no Z-axis for up and down, therefore no height. The bomb only registers touching hitboxes when it touches the ground, so no matter how tall the unit it's going over appears to be, it will not hit it. It's no bug.

If you're having trouble with it bouncing over your target, try either hitting them with the first landing and not bouncing, or hitting easier targets next to them, such as minions.

Ziggs is very playable. He has some of the best wave clear in the game, he can farm and poke safely from distance, he has AoE CC that zones an area, he has good disengage, and a global ult. He is an awesome mid if you have a late scaling team since he can stall out a game quite easily. I think he will be coming back into the meta before long.

Riot nerfed Ziggs hard before. Patch after patch. They nerfed his movement speed, his Q aoe damage range, his overall damage, his cooldowns etc. Basically when he was popular there wasn't an effective way to stop him and he was unfun to play against, to have on your team (see: old nidalee), and to spectate. But now we have items such as the ever-prevalent Righteous Glory to engage on him so he could stand a small buff or two.

I'd like to see his strenghts emphasized along with his weaknesses. So making his bombs bounce more would help set him apart from other long-range skillshot mages and allow more counterplay in his kit. This should allow Ziggs to then be able to receive a buff to his Q damage and maybe more. His w should probably be more useful against an enemy rather than as an escape to make him have to really choose how to use the skill. This will separate the good Ziggs from the great (hire me Rito). Also his Ult should have a standard cast time as when it is cast right next to him it is basically undodgable.
