Titanic Hydra on Gnar

Yesterday was a good day, won most of my games. Two of them were on this questionable build.

So, because Mini Gnar can't use the effects from Hydra, building the old item 3074 didn't make much sense at all, specially when you would lose some tanky stats for your Mega Gnar from. However, with the introduction of item 3748 I feel there's room for the item on Gnar's build path. While questionable, because you only get the AD for your Mini form, the damage and stats boost, passive damage and active effect you get when being Mega is through the roof, similar to how some people have been building Renekton and is not as bad as you may think. It gives Gnar an extra boost to the already strong Mega power up, and the use of the item can lead to very unexpected damage during a teamfight, as well as the added tankyness that you get just from the HP, which I feel has gone up in value because of the armor nerfs. I feel it accentuates even more how important is to time Mega properly, because how much more powerful you become.

The build is questionable however, because of how Tiamat/Hydra work with Mini Gnar, but I feel the payoff you get in Mega form is totally worth the purchase. After all, as Gnar, you wanna jump in as mega and cause as much chaos as possible. Like I said, was able to win 2 games yesterday while trying this out.

But what do you guys think? Has anyone tried this? Is it too much of a sacrifice for Mini Gnar? I think it's an awesome item, if a bit of a niche pick of an item.

I would imagine that it would be better to go something else like maybe Steraks, because Gnar in big form has the highest BASE AD in the game.

Its not totally wasted on his passive form either, but yeah, I think you would fare better with BC + FM combo and into tank items.
