I'm not ranking until I gain back the mechanics that I've lost from playing bots.....this is a smurf account btw, but do not having any runes how much of a disadvantage does this actually put me and if it's huge should I just play defensively and not feed until I get runes? Also what is the fastest way to gain lp without a boost?
Play a shit ton of norms(100 or so). Yes I know it's a lot, but trust me you will fail horribly. Just look at my s6 stats. Also, runes don't make that big of a difference yet, so just buy the 1ip ones. And even when you get runes don't feed.
No runes is a huge disadvantage, especially early. Just buy all the T2 runes and leave it at that for now, at least.
Easiest way to get IP without a boost is to win in SR.
Tier 2 runes are basically free and likely 'good enough' until you get to something resembling your non-smurf elo.
Jungling without runes feels really bad, but after you overcome the slightly harder last hitting aspects of other roles they probably won't make a huge difference compared to skill discrepencies.
I believe simply winning normal pvp games as fast as possible (longer than 7 minutes of course or you don't get rewards, but 3 20 minute games is better than 1 hour long game) is fastest IP in the absence of boosts.
