Low level matchmaking problems : S

So here is the issue I am seeing in lower level matchmaking. The draft ques are absurdly long and blind is a nightmare because your champion pool is so limited it's hard to find champions who are not easily counter picked. For example... Garen Top. I love Garen but in my opinion, he is very bad as a BLIND pick because if he get's a lane like Teemo or Darius it doesn't matter how well you play that match up, you are most likely going to lose. So I spend what seems like a lot of IP unlocking Nasus thinking, "well if I scale well then the jgler ignoring my lane or freezing is not so bad" WRONG! Guess who else get's counter picked suuuuuuuuper easily, Nasus on free to play Darius week!!! Yay!!!! Most of the champions who are fairly well rounded/ safe cost a lot of IP which is problematic because I am spending all of my IP on runes to try to keep up with all of the smurfs at this level and basically having to buy majority of the 450 champs, (even if I don't like them) just to fill my min champion pool for ranked.
