Why Riot can't fix the " Support Que " Issue

It all comes down to psychology. If you look on the leader boards you will see that there is a lot of top ranking support players. Why? Because those players have gathered enough knowledge about the game to understand that the support shares an equally important role on the team. This being said, back to Psychology. In lower elo, everybody has the mentality that they don't want to support because they can't "carry" So naturally nobody is going to pick support but if Riot just buffs every support to be this suuuper fun happy time champion then what will happen on the opposite end. A role that is already respected in high level play, is going to become unbalanced and it will show in LCS.

What supports do.

  • Help keep everyone safe, not just the ADC.

  • Helps with providing vision.. (Notice how I said... "Helps" because EVERYONE is supposed to ward...)

  • Keeps track of jungle timers It's 7 minutes in, and they started red on blue team side, they should be ganking top soon... They just left mid going down? bot lane has about 30 seconds to get back to safety.

#This is something my friend showed me, we went into a normals game and he was able to call out when their jungle will gank and where.

This was shocking to me as a bronze the fact he could call it out and then be like, "Now that he's done ganking top, he'll be heading back to blue buff, because it re-spawned"

Blue buff and red buff have re-spawn intervals of 5 minutes. So if you know which buff they start you'll be able to guess where their jungle will be in those** intervals of 5 minutes.**

#I know there's like a lot more things. Some harder than others.

Support is one of the hardest roles when you add up every thing a support needs to do/keep track of.

Supports have the same warding limits as everyone, so everyone needs to help provide vision. This is why riot gives you a totem.

Because supports keep track of jungle timers, their perhaps constantly looking at the map, but that doesn't mean you should get lazy on the map awareness yourself. This only means that if you sometimes forget you may get a ping.
