My brother and i have been wondering to aquire Hextech chests and keys. it seemed straight forward in the last season and preseason , earnS, play nice and reap rewards. But my brother is honor level 5, and i went 30/1 on akali about a week ago and neither of us have seen these rewards. Has the system changed?
Mysticman892 votesI don't think anyone is honour 5 yet this season, keep in mind honour levels reset with the season.
Key fragments come from playing, and as long as you have a 2+ honour level, you'll get fragments. More playing->more fragments. You get a few extra bonus ones whenever you reach an honour checkpoint as well, but the only requirement for the random fragments is amount of play.
Mastery chests are 1 per week (although you can be eligible for up to 4 at once if you don't keep up with them), and you can only earn one mastery chest per champion per season. They aren't random though, so if you earn an S rank on an eligible champ while you have a chest available to be earned, you'll get one.
