His range is about the same as vayne which is extremely short compared to other adcs. wtffff??

I have no idea why you people keep saying vayne has short range ... she has 550 range which is avg range for adcs.

The attack range doesn't matter much when it comes to laning. What matters is the zoning range. Lucian has 925 effective range with his dash while Vayne has 800 range. If you look at this picture: http://i.imgur.com/tG1pHcL.png Green circle being "with dash" and red being "without". While is attack range is small, his zoning range is huge, this combined with the fact that he can outtrade almost every ADC because of his passive early game and his ability to poke at 900 range with Piercing Light is what makes Lucian dangerous despite his poor attack range.

A good way to understand the zoning range is by looking at Blitzcrank. Blitzcrank has 925 zoning range when his hook is ready, but only 125 when his hook is on CD because he is only dangerous in melee without his hook.

I honestly don't think Lucian is OP. He's good early and mid game but fall off pretty hard late game.
