Mastery levels and Blue essence

Please reduce the Blue essence price of upgrading a mastery level to 6 or 7 to something actually attainable. Currently, you have to grind multiple levels to get enough blue essence for one mastery level unless you get really lucky and get that specific champion shard for it. Then you have to choose between buying new champions and upgrading your mastery level.

In my opinion, Mastery levels shouldn't be tied to the currency and an RNG system in the first place. Before the BE revamp, it was still fine since BE wasn't tied to IP and the costs were attainable. Now it's just a frustrating hassle.

Yeah, I opened an Ivern shard a couple days after I crafted level 7 Ivern and it made me want to die. I basically wasted 2700 ish BE for literally nothing more than the ability to BM slightly better for a couple games.

They just scaled up the mastery prices because historically, you'd get much less BE per month, even if you spent all of your IP on BE.

Think about it: Before, you got IP from matches and you got your BE from Honor Capsules and Hextech Chests. If you wanted to, you had the option to turn your IP into BE via Hextech Mystery Champion Shards. Now, you get your BE from leveling (which is supposed to be the same amount as the IP you got from matches) and still from Honor Capsules and Hextech Chests. So basically, you're getting a lot more BE than before, because now the entirety of your previous IP income is now your BE income.

Even if you converted your IP into BE, it wasn't a 1:1 conversion. You spent 1700 IP to get something like 250 BE. 1 BE was worth much more than 1 IP in the old system, now it is basically a 1:1 conversion between the two currencies. Riot determined that 1 BE was worth 6.5 IP (presumably because the average user got 6.5 times the IP as he or she did BE), so they scaled Mastery Prices based on that.

Yeah I'm basically saving every champ shard i'll ever need for this overpriced garbage, so now i'm just earning 350 BE a week WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
