What if we were able to not lose lp because of toxic people who just afk/don't get punished and demoted because someone's internet it terrible?
Just had a 
die 10x and feed the other team because he kept disconnecting. I hate losing ranked because other teammates terrible connection issues. 
It's a nice idea but I don't think it can realistically be enforced. I think at least one person in a match has connection issues a majority of games so there would have to be really strict rules about what would qualify for the LP forgiveness, otherwise rankings would get screwed over because no one would lose LP.
Amen. I had a game were a team mate was totally fine in que but then once the game started he disconnected and never came back causing us to loose.
