So recently i had more free time to spend in league and i noticed something. The closer you get to plat the more you lose. I don't consider my self some sort of a pro player or smth like that, but i consider i am good enough for plat 5. But i can't get past gold 2. Like i barley get gold 2, then start losing until gold 3 20lp and then get around gold 2 with 50 lp. Same story. Losing, winning, losing. But only when i play with plat players. Is there any way to get into plat without luck? Like a game can't be carried against fed mid laners/adc's when u don't play assasins. Even if you do play some sort of a broken champ, like rengar or yi or smth, a fed vayne will delete ya. Can you please give me advice? ^^ I reallly like playing top and i am a darius Darius main, but after min 30 you get instakilled if u are the frontline against very mobile champs. Thank you in advance! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

That might just mean you're very close or at your actual rank. It's normal. I had around an 80% winrate going into Gold V, and currently at around a 57% winrate at Gold I. Your winrate will even out the more you climb and approach your actual skill level.

That's about the only reason I can think of. Just keep playing, practicing, and improving, and you'll probably get there. Sorry I can't offer anything more, I'm unfamiliar with top lane.

The ways to beat hyper carries is to shut them down early or have a crazy mid game so they cant get to late game.

Normally my advice is to roam bot every chance you get to help get your bot lane fed so they can be super oppressive, but I am not sure how viable that is from top since I suck at top.

I haven't checked your game history but I would highly suggest getting a warden's mail before you think you will start fighting them, and build it into a randuins omen so you can take less crit damage and use the slow to stick to them.

I think Darius is still S tier type of top laner or extremely close to it since his kit hasn't hit any bumps or bruises with the recent patch hits. Maybe watch higher pro players with their kits and playstyle and try to mimic their actions? If you main darius then there really shouldn't be an issue with hitting that early game damage hard on the enemy top laner.
