Autofill Leads to Inexcusable Decrease in Game Quality

A few thoughts:

  1. The autofill system itself increases time spent finding a game because it creates an incentive to dodge, which leads to entering multiple lobbies before eventually making it to the loading screen. Ironic that a system designed to decrease queue times actually results in a gross increase to overall time spent reaching the Rift.

  2. The matches themselves are lower quality/less enjoyable because you have players forced to play roles they either can't function in or don't want to play. Further, these players are pissed off from the game's inception and more prone to tilt/troll. As a result, game quality suffers for everyone and no one is having any fun for at least 20 minutes.

Conclusion: the autofill system provides a negative experience and doesn't even achieve the goal for which it was implemented.
