I know Wit's end is sort of a niche pick for certain champions and needs to be reworked all together but I was wondering why there isn't an item that includes (armor + attack speed + on hit). It would make sense against certain comps that are heavily running AD champions, the on hit is nice but if they don't have any AP on there team it's not worth the build. Any thoughts on why this isn't a thing or why it can't be?
Not every items needs an equivalent with the opposite offensive or defensive stats.
Because we already too many armor pen items.
It's not really similar at all. It gives completely different stats. Cleaver gives health, damage, CDR, and shreds armor. Wits end gives MR and attack speed and shreds MR.
Cause it would be opie?
If there was an armor version of Wit's, any battle between two top laners that could buy it would consist of them both buying it and proceeding to do a whole lot of nothing to each other.
The same reason we don't have any AD+Armor items.
Because they decided a long time ago that offense and armor on one item was a terrible idea. The exception to this rule is Cinderhulk because it's more passive.
Besides, such an item already exists. It's the new Phantom Dancer.
simple answer is, half the adc pool would buy it and kill you with it.
it sounds like a good idea at first until you consider as/on hit based adc who would be broken with it.
who do you think would make better use of an armor/ad wits end? tanks, or these guys?
