Straight to the point, even though they are supposed to create this playstyle variation, some of the choices are so sub-par compared to other that the choice is almost non-existent. > Example: Inspiration tree has quite a lot of runes like Magical Footwear(which you would not pick on a support because mobility is needed pre 10 mins to be able to help out other lanes or set up vision) where you can pick Sorcery (secondary or primary) and go with Celerity and Waterwalking which actually give you some useful stats which are themselves more cost efficient than having free boots(300g) which you can get later down the path have the stats of boots and the stats from the runes ontop of it. Realistically you would consider Inspiration only for the Keystone or the Stopwatch. Actual stat increases or combat effects are much more valuable and easily accessible in other trees.(also being more cost efficient)

> Precision: Greater Rune choice of precision is clearcut winner for Triumph as ADCs and Bruisers will mostly use this tree.

  1. Free bonus gold for TAKEDOWNS, not kills
  2. 15% MAX health heal(clear winner for bruisers and fighters since they are usually on the frontline and have some health) is basically increasing the chance of survival of an adc no matter if the support or anyone is there to help.

Overall even though there´ supposed to be bigger variety I feel like once people figure out the best combinations,there really wont be much of a "build your own setup" because META(MOST EFFECTIVE tactic available) will be there no matter what, thinning the choice drastically.

As I don´t know any of the Champion Base Stat changes I might be slightly off however the point should stand. I welcome any feedback as I am interested in a conversation about the runes and ideas however remember that this is MY OPINION.
