Stormrazor should probably be removed.. or nerfed

There's a tldr at the end.

  1. Stormrazor is too gold efficient.. it is 106.25% gold efficient with the 60AD and 35% AS alone. It is 134.46% gold efficient factoring the 20% MS from the passive. This doesn't even include the free crit that you get.. (for some reason wiki hasn't calculated that yet)
  2. The item gives crit ADC's too much of a power spike. The 8.11 Shiv IE can't even compare to this because you actually need 2 items to power spike with Shiv IE.. but.. stormrazor is all you need to power spike because it gives AS and AD. Shiv alone isn't a power spike because you don't have AD to scale off crits.
  3. Continued. Stormrazor gives 2 of the core ADC stats. Stormrazor offers both AD and AS for 2800G. Shiv (8.11) gives AS and Crit for 2600G. The difference is that Shiv doesn't give AD so the criticals don't even deal more than the modified 140% dmg from just a base stormrazor.
  4. Some math Let's say you have 100 AD with no items.. Stormrazor 60AD 160x1.4=224 stormrazor modified crit 160 dmg from other basic attacks Shiv no AD 100x2=200 crit dmg no modifiers 100 dmg from other basic attacks

  1. Jhin Stormrazor + passive + fleet footwork + berserker greaves = mach 10 Jhin Deja Vu running in the 90's. I
  2. Assassins the free crit is literally a huge dmg increase for assassins that basic attack.. Math.. let's say you have 300AD and you buy.. Stormrazor (300+60)x1.4=504 Hydra (300+80)=380 Hydra does give ad for abilities so fair enough..

tldr; gives adc's much better early power spike, too gold efficient, Jhin starts running at mach 10 and assassins get even more burst.

For one, it's so gold efficient because it's the only item in the game whose gold efficiency goes down the longer the game goes on. By the same token, it gives crit ADCs an artificial power spike because yes, it's good at one item. Bit the second you get a zeal item, its value is already on the decline and by the time you have IE, it's honestly better to sell it for a second Zeal item, meaning an ADC is actually losing gold.

Furthermore, the item isnt that strong on crit ADCs. It was stronger and better on melee assassins, who were the most problematic abusers. ;/

So is that the entire idea? To just remove it from the game, so the crit ADCs that are already in a weak spot don't have that item either? Any thought as to why the item exists in the first place, or is the vibe just that crit ADCs don't deserve to have anything?

its getting worked on this season, also shiv ie was much better because of the high chance consistant crits AND them doing 250% dmg along with throwing a rfc on it which stacked with shiv you could get half hped from across the screen stormrazor as of now is much better on paper than it actually is in game hell its the main reason for the sorry adc state rn
