This is the first year when I don't play urf for the whole duration. For me the random champion system ruined it, since I enjoy playing only couple or so champions, for example getting a mage or tank (which I don't like playing) takes a lot away from my urf games. Of course that's just my opinion, but please post yours in the comments.

adcs are mostly shit on urf, auto attacks mean nothing when you have Wukong and Shaco doing their invisiblity BS and just throw random abilities around

People can play what they want in urf. in ARURF however, they cannot. It isn't urf, its arurf. The whole point of this gamemode is to try a new take on urf, not to bring back the same gamemode

You also have the freedom to not play it...it's not a permanent gamemode, its here for what three days? if you dont like it dont play it. There's plenty of gamemodes i have issues with, so when they're on rotation i don't play them. You can't like them all

Except 90% of the community just plays every OP cheesy comp in special game modes. To take advantage of the alternate balance. So no. As much as I like Shyvana, she pales in urf compared to Hec, 90% of the community will not choose Shyvana over Hec. Just as an example. You are the "special flower" who thinks you are different as in... not playing what is good in that mode. But meanwhile the community begged for all random urf for years because urf was so unbalanced, broken and full of nonstop cheese.

Win somehow but you are miserable because all the OP URF champs can run circles around you and murder you for days, making you get hard carried.
This was a good change, like it or not. The game mode is healthier because of it.

It took away many things, including a stale meta and a tryhard mentality that sucks the fun out of URF. Your "freedom of choice" is still intact because you don't have to play it.
It's nice that you don't care about game health, but frankly most people do, which is why this change is welcomed.

1 year old post but you triggered me too hard there...Did you say it out loud, really? HEALTHIER BECAUSE OF RANDOM SYSTEM? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? IN WHAT WAY is 10 minute games healthier? IN WHAT WAY are onesided facestomps healthier? IN WHAT WAY is taking away the freedom of FREE PICKS healthier? SERIOUSLY? I honestly think it is at least million times healthier to see overpowered broken champions on BOTH TEAMS than "random chance" that isn't actually random giving one team most broken ones and other team must accept the unwinnable trample.
