How are we supposed to use morellos if he never goes below half health. He's ridiculously hard to kill unless we 3v1 or something

Gonna assume you mostly only play AP.

Swain naturally counters a lot of AP champions. You could counteract this by building in a way to completely ignore Swain, such as optimizing for waveclear (an area that Swain is awkward in) or if you're using an Artillery Mage especially, just staying outside his bubble of effectiveness.

Swain's mostly just average right now. If you're having trouble fighting him, perhaps it's you who should learn new ways to deal with him?

Swain is awkward in wave clear? You just activate your ult for 5-7 seconds and- wait, where'd the wave go?

You want to avoid using your ult to clear the wave unless you're certain it's safe to do so, that's the awkward part. Your ult has a cooldown so it's a very real window of opportunity to just dive you if you've decided to use to it, for example clearing a wave that's crashing into your tower. If you press R while a riven is coming near your tower and you don't know where the enemy jungler is only to turn it off after you've cleared out some minions... chances are a flash stun and khazix dive is coming your way before the ult comes back up.

oh, well that's my ignorance. I thought his ult was relatively low CD, like Karma's ult. But I've never read up on it so I'm probably wrong.

Riven cc's bursts you before you can even ult.

I have over 100 games on swain these 3 can really mess him up if played right AND they are reworking Swain so you don't have to worry for that long.

lol case and point... im bad at swain i like him just not great at him... i played him when i was auto filled mid vs fizz . fizz took ignite i went 16-5-12 as swain

You don't have to fight him ever to win lane. Swain really struggles with clearing minions unless he uses his ult. Just push to his tower and roam. To clear it without missing a lot of cs, he is going to have to put his ult on cooldown meaning you should engage on him right when you get back if he used it. If he didn't, the just repeat the process.
