Handicaps for players that are behind in Normals
tl;dr Death timers should scale based upon how well a player is doing. This could be measured based upon gold income vs the enemy team average. It's not fun to spend more than 50% of your time in game being punished for being subpar.
Most people play League of Legends in Normals for fun instead of playing Ranked to win. However it is not fun to spend the majority of the game on a black and white screen. For instance, why does a level 12 player with 1/9/1 have the same respawn timer as an enemy level 12 with 9/1/1?
How do I fight someone that is fed if I am behind? As the patch currently stands, I can not play the game. If I am behind, I can't participate in fights because I will die first, and farming isn't that effective if they push together to the Nexus, not really caring one way or the other. I can't build defense because I can't get farm; I can't get farm because I get bursted in less than a second; I get bursted in a second because I can't build defense.
And why does the Nexus blow up when you surrender? The enemy didn't even hit it. And the thing is I'm not even playing ranked! Why do I have to experience the same losing sensation game after game after game?
**Losing shouldn't feel that bad because the loss shouldn't matter but it does. Even if I'm not doing well in a game I should at least be having fun; I can suck at Smash but it's still fun, I can suck at TF2 but it's still fun, I can suck at just about any other game but if you're not doing well in League, it's really difficult to have fun. **
