Well, ive made it back to plat and on my way to diamond. So ive decided to make a new guide to help people from gold to plat. The last one i did was bronze to sil. I don't know how many ill help with this but anything to help the community grow is a plus. So on to the guide. As you climb in gold, you will see player with better mechanics. That's fine, that will come with time. What im trying to teach you here is the fundamental of high elo which will help you rise up through plat. So lets begin, games can be quite frustrating in low gold because of the lingering habits that high silver tend to do. Like unreasonable dive, priorities in objectives and order of actions. These can be mitigated pretty much the same way you did in previous elo. Focus on prioritizing the right objective at the right time and solo carry through roaming. Now with that out of the way, let's move on to the high gold. In high gold most of these habits should be fix. What will count here is decision making. You cant follow through a plan and win with it like in the past. Reacting to decisions and making ones to initiate a counter decision by your opponent then counter that decision is now a factor into play.

#1 So in high gold understanding match up is very important. For example, picking poppy into a darius or an ahri into a Lb. So what am i talking about? Let's say i am playing ahri vs a veig. I know that his e is usually taken at lvl 3 and has a cd of 13-20 sec. Also veig players don't max e first. I also know that ahri's kill potential drastically improves at 6. So at six ill bait his e without the usage of my r of course and then i HAVE to kill within the window of opportunity which is roughly 10sec.(always assume the minimum then minus 1 or 2 sec). You dont need to know all cd by heart. You just need a rough estimate of the usual match up and your hard counter.

#2 lane control!!! This is very important and videos dont usually teach you. You don't need to kill your opponent to win lane. Example, veig is low because he made a mistake and got charmed while im full hp with ahri. I need to shove up to his tower to force decision making. The veig player has 3 choices. 1. Staying in lane for reduce farm and exp because of my zoning and risk being dive. 2. Recall and lose 1-2wave of exp, gold and risk you roaming around. 3. Ask for jungler to gank, which will relieve pressure for your teammate. You should be expecting 1 of the 3 possibility and act accordingly. Do not freeze lane pointlessly, you need to manage the wave properly at every turn.

#3 one last or else ill spend the entire day explaining. Ward. Warding is imperative to your success. How to ward is an art. For example, deep warding is very good thing to learn during laning phase. Knowing ahead is very important but lets go further. How to use ward to win lane. The honeyfruits are pretty sweet ^.^ if you know what i mean. Skuttle spawn time or vision timer can indicate whether an enemy jungler is nearby or not.

So with that i say good luck!
