Ranked AFK Punishment

Does anyone agree that the punishment for leaving the game in ranked should be more severe? Although I can't speak for the higher ELOs, the majority of the games I lose are because of 4v5 matches. The point of ranked is to give players more drive to improve, and losing so many games like this kind of destroys my chances of ranking up (the last three games I've played had two AFKs). I think a reasonable punishment would be deduction of a full rank, because then people will be more loath to leave. As for people who leave without meaning to because of Internet problems, they probably wouldn't be going into ranked when their Internet is acting up. Does anyone have other suggestions or reasons why this shouldn't be implemented?

There are times you accidentally get disconnected. These players shouldn't get a big penalty for it. If they did, too many innocent players would get punished.
