Rift Herald and Baron idea

I was thinking about Rift Herald and Baron, and thought it would be interesting if Rift Herald was Baron's mother. We already know that rift herald is female, and maybe the male of the species is Baron, and they just have extreme sexual dimorphism. I was thinking that Rift Herald (as a corrupted Scuttle, apparently) stays in the pit instead of wandering around like the uncorrupted Scuttles because she's protecting her eggs (which take 20 minutes to hatch, spawning Baron). This would also explain why she's willing to fight to the death to protect them, instead of being a pacifist, like the other Scuttles. I suppose being corrupted could explain that too, but I like my reasoning, it adds a little story to that area of the map. Also, she has the name herald, as if her presence heralds the arrival of the ancient creature Baron, wherever she is. This would make sense if Baron appearing was a direct result of her presence, which in this scenario it would be. What do you think?

Depends on if Voidborn are "birthed" or if they just spawn into existence.

Then again, Kog'maw does speak of a "daddy".

Honestly, go a step further. these things are Void Creatures, when baron spawns have him EAT HER! Now that would be a jarring spawn! Lore-wise void creatures don't give birth or anything like that, the void just turns the land of Runeterra into Void Creatures but this is still a cool idea!

Now that you mention, they do share some of the same biological characteristics. They both have those head feeler thingies.

And like some creatures of this earth that die after giving birth or what evs, there is your 20 min hatching idea.

The problem I see with your theory is that Baron looks nothing like the Rift herald and that he himself is likely a corrupted lifeform that is native to runeterra.

I mean just look at this picture of a Krakenwyrm http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/c/ca/Bilgewater_Serpent.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150829165026 It looks very similar to Nashor,so its likely that Nashor is from a related species.
