Riot plz balance Twitch

Think about it. Every other champion with stealth in this game has some sort of balance.. some sort of counterplay. is only stealthed from a distance, with you at least at least get a (!) letting you know he's near. has a defined area she's invisible... but Twitch? Just gone without a trace. When he's in the jungle, he can stealth in, pleasantly take his time walking behind you between your turret, then unstealth with an as boost and massively ranged ult so that even if you flash heal he's in range the whole time and you're dead. no warning. You took away the ability to have a pink ward in your trinket slot, so late game you can't even buy them. Even early game, they're completely visible and easy to destroy. It's just... not balanced. Plz.

Ok yes but at least he is melee. You can flash away from him. I'm pretty sure his stealth duration is shorter, and he doesn't get a MASSIVE boost of any kind when he comes out. Twitch can get on your face and still has 850 range with his ult to destroy you in. Who can get around that????

at least twitch has to take time to enter ambush, Shaco is just instantaneous.

but that really makes no difference from a ganking perspective. Whether he's jungle or adc if he wants to gank a lane, the time it takes to enter stealth makes no difference because it lasts so long AND he gets a movement speed bonus.

i meant if you caught them out in any way, like pre teamfight. if you catch Shaco out of position, he just q's and hes safe again. with Twitch , you get 5 seconds to kill him, which should be plenty enough time

Yes but thats because it's not an inherently defensive ability. It's called Ambush because it's meant for engage not escaping, and when used as such there's practically nothing you can do. Mostly referring to outside of lane here, but even in lane if you lose sight of him for a second he could reappear behind you and you're done.

true, but Shaco can do that as well, and he can also use it for escaping.

but shaco isnt doing aoe autos with hurricane that melt an entire team in a cone 850 units infront of him. applying marks to said team. the dude only has one skillshot thats aoe and applys two of the marks for him, which he can also use in stealth so you never really miss. then he presses a button, doesn't have to hit another skillshot to explode the mark or anything just presses it for TRUE dmg nuke on multiple enemies. ITS NOT EVEN POINT AND CLICK YOU JUST PRESS A BUTTON. also dot. twitch also gets a reset on stealth now too. so he can get out. hes just got way too much going for him. massive burst and dps out the bunghole

I thought it was established that stealth was inherently unhealthy and that a number of champions who use stealth were either gutted or turned feast or famine.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but that's legit how I feel. There's just not enough counterplay to stealth in general. Like no champion has built in stealth detection.. So your only option is pink wards, which are in a really crappy place because they take a free inventory slot no matter what, are always visible and hard to defend, and you can only have 1 at a time. It's just not enough. But like I said, at least with most other champions you have some sort of warning or balance. Shaco can insta stealth but doesn't get buffs on top of it!

Well I'm not being sarcastic Suuuure, Rengar has an indicator but I can't tell you how many times I saw that indicator for literally less than a second before he leaped into me because he flashed after ulting or how Evelynn comes out of nowhere and presses E to get a movement speed steroid to outrun anyone who is immobile and 100-0 them in less than a second. Hell even Teemo to an extent.

Stealth basically makes it a reaction contest and that access to means of counter playing the mechanic either completely destroys a stealth based champions or creates a snowbally champion that completely dominates the lane.

yeah i dont disagree with either of you. I think Twitch is still the most unbalanced of them all, but stealth in general is a mechanic that's in a really bad place right now. Or i guess I should say too good of a place.

RekSai Rengar TwistedFate can all detect stealth units just to remind you. And as for shaco... you forgot the part where he gets a free crit out of his stealth, didn't you? And the flash element of it is pretty darn strong too.
