Can we talk about Rumble?

Going into Season 10, we have a lot of well-enough designed reworks and balance changes to make roles feel more diverse (or at least concise), but, I feel that Rumble is left in an awkward spot. In this spot he doesnt' feel like he fits in anywhere, and other champions do what he's supposed to do, better. Mordekaiser feels a lot like this.

With rumble being this melee-ranged, somewhat sustained AP bruiser but somehow lacks any survivability makes him feel really weak. His shield is weak, the movement speed is far too brief, and this is somehow his only tankiness outside of health building items.

It's just, an awkward kit, especially now once it feels dated. His R doesn't feel as impactful as it used to with mobility creep, and his Q is still hard counteres by people like Gragas and Urgot's flip, what with the flamethrower refusing to adjust to his moved position, resulting in extreme damage losses in all-ins and trades.

His E is probably the best part of his kit, but is also one of the more vexing things about his kit. It's intended to be a slow to get into melee range so he can bully, but it ends up being his main form of farm instead, with his Q doing less to minions, while also somehow shoving the lane.

His passive is just bad. He overheats, silences himself, and does bonus on-hit damage with his autos. It's.. almost counter intuitive to his playstyle to be frank. If you overheat on anything that isnt' his flamethrower, you automatically screw yourself in trades and all-ins, and even then. It's tied to one of the slowest and clunkiest autos in the game, at 125 range no less. His passive is.. honestly it's a bait tactic on the player using him, baiting you into a situation you think you need to do to win a trade, only to lose it horribly and int.

I don't know what needs to be done to rumble, but he has been weak for a long time

The problem is his r is actually op as all hell if you know what you are doing. I would be fine with giving him some love but he also needs his ult and probabaly his flamethrower tuned down a little

Rumble's far from weak. If you think he's weak, you probably aren't playing him correctly.

If you HAVE to go into your passive, make it at times your Q/W are both going on CD. There's no downside to this when you're silenced, as both persist, and the only thing you lose out on is your E...which you were probably using before thus, only have 1 or even 0 charges anyway.

Rumble is all about timing.

Rumble is pretty good though. He counters a lot of the more popular toplane picks, and his ult is far from useless. It's extremely impactful in teamfights. Sure he has bad matchups, such as Urgot. Morder is probably worse than Rumble tbh, he gets kited far easier than Rumble does. And Rumble has kite in his kit, so hes got both parts of the coin. He's not BAD, but he definitely needs an update
