An AP MF main on the Make it Rain nerf that just went live on the PBE

I main AP MF. Make it Rain, her primary ability, was recently nerfed on the PBE. This was done because she has been oppressive as the highest win rate marksmen. She is already difficult to play in lane in the early game, relying on long range harass and guerrilla CSing with strut to get by. Nerfing her damage further will break her. Riot should consider giving a light buff to the AP ratio on Make it Rain to make up for a nerf that was targeted at marksmen MF but that also affects AP MF.

I don't see why a utility ability should have so much damage anyway. Either the slow % or the damage needed to be toned down, it triggers me when I lose 50% of my hp because someone casts an instant ability and it takes me 2s to get out of it, much counterplay.

I'm fine with the base damage nerf, I agree that it does too much base damage for someone with no AP. I just want the AP ratio increased so it doesn't break AP MF.

The base damage was lowered, not the AP ratio. So it affects all MF builds. The nerf was targeted at ADC MF who has a really high win rate. It also affects AP MF.

So no nerf? That looks like a nerf to AP MF. Which isn't bad at all really. Otherwise, use E for the slow and leave a point at level 1 like you should, maxing it last. Max Q first, and attempt to finish off Creeps to get that massive damaging second shot on the enemy champion. Hard to land, but the damage is very worth!

ADC MFs have been leveling Make it Rain first in bot lane. This nerf was targeted at reducing the early game pressure of ADC MF.

Umm, okay. That's stupid. Only stupid people would do that. Very stupid people. IT's not a nerf, it's a fix. And they should proceed to slap anyone stupid enough to do such a very stupid thing.
