I want to win, tyvm. Right now, there's no reason to pick him since he doesn't go crit or lethality. His uselessness is also backed up by his 45% winrate and abysmal statistics.

It's fucking sad Ezreal is really fun to play too He's like the least boring adc imo

Yeah, he's fun, he's a good champion, but the meta just takes a dump on him right now.

Do you just have bad luck with Ezreals? As long as he's paired with a waveclear supports for lane control he should be pretty good right now. His low winrate has a lot to do with his preferred lane partners being uncommon.

He just doesn't offer enough to justify picking him over someone who goes lethality or crit right now. Sure he averages a lot of damage per game, but a lot of it is poke, and many champions can just heal it through lifesteal, warmog's or innate sustain.

the main issue with Ezreal is lane and the super fast/aggressive meta we have

he has to have time to build into his power curve which is typically around 18 min mark after he has item 3078 and the champs who are strong right now at adc are good vs him and flat out punish him cuz he goes item 1027 or item 3070 if not both in lane and has no AD so he is punished hard and cant trade with the same power out put

you would think due to the tank/ lethality meta currently that a blue EZ would be ideal but its just can you wait for him to get to it ? and how far behind do you fall while doing so ?

but either way he suffers hard in lane phase from lack of pure damage builds and has to get to a mid game point while trying to not to be blown out in bot lane.. kinda why corki was bad for so long and why he isnt played bot

^Yup, exactly this. He needs a strong laning partner, but there's too many Threshs and Blitzs (coin mana gen OP); he doesn't exactly like that lane meta cause they can't help him push.

I think I'd personally pass on the Braum Nautilus but the rest seem solid (better be a decent Taric though lol). I'd also add Soraka but with so much grievous now it's likely bad ^^"

braum is a great support due to his offensive and defensive abilities...

with ez they can proc his passive really well , braum can use his stand behind me to give ez bonus def when they are in trades and counter hard dives on EZ

similar to naut

my point of view on this is as a support main , i dont like raka she will be focused and blown up... she offers no peel or protection outside of heals

I'm just saying they don't really help him push, which is what he needs right now (to not get dived and have lane control so he can poke). With so much Thresh/Blitz they would probably work out vs him.

well tanky supports are someone lane counter to blitz stand between blitz n the adc...

use relic shield to help him "push" ideally in lane he wants to freeze the lane just outside turret range so if the enemy truly wants him dead they are gonna have to go big or go home

I only play Taric in support and absolutely hate getting Ezreal for an ADC. It is impossible to win trades unless the enemy is just bad. It seems to me that other ADC's do at least 30% more damage than Ezreal and I don't like sitting back poking the enemy when I'm on Taric. I want to get in the enemy's face and bash it in with my passive while comboing until one of us is dead. That play style doesn't fit Ezreal at all. I also don't like Jhin and MF for the same reason.

taric and ez use to be the go to combo bot

now taric is good with ez due to taric being a counter dive/engage support with his ult and he gives him bonus armor to sustain damage vs the stronger adcs

You said it yourself. "vs the stronger adcs." Why would I want to give Ezreal bonus armor and counter engage against the stronger adc's when I can give the same thing to the stronger adc's.

I hate supporting Ezreals and Vaynes. They have a farm mentality, so even if you pull off a good engage or counterengage, there is a good chance they ignore it and just farm.

this is why you need to pick champs that compliment each other

bot lane is a must...

dont go leona go ham and expect a lvl 3 vayne to follow

dont pick a soraka who is passive with an adc who is vs blitz/draven

Ezreal is pretty shitty adc, when i go bot i just skip the tear an go right for triforce into other damage items. you dont scale anymore you only end the game as quick as possible. when i go mid i just rush gunblade an 1 shot my laner the moment they come back to lane after lvl 9. im 1 trick ez and im only like 53% win rate in 900 games but meh alot of games are pretty hard to carry as ap ezreal cause you cant push for shit unless you stomp the enemy team into floor. and getting monkeys in solo Q to take objectives is next to impossible. also getting your jungler to not be some squishy ass useless no cc assassins when you have huge damage in mid lane is also hard. but ap ez really dont have any bad match ups in mid they all come down to skill of the player, ofc shit like yasuo/zed/fizz shit all over you cause mobile assassin with antiskillshot abilties is just aids to deal with as squishy with no cc.
