AD is basically a second ranged carry in your game - ranged damage and longer-ranged poke. AP is a very fragile assassin with a lot of skillshots and some good AoE damage.

ap is fun but if your going ap you should be getting a tear or you'd be losing on waveclear. into the seraphs embrace.
