The uninspired Kindred rework of recent patches
Well straight to the topic, Riot has clearly no idea what to do with Kindred.
After they nerfed them to the point they're just a disadvantage in the team and so left them there like it's okay, now they come out with this uninspired, boring "rework".
I feel like Kindred's stacking mechanic shouldn't just slowly buff their skills so they can fit in with that wierd not-so-good-jungler-not-so-good-marksmen playstyle. In the past they were a top tier jungler, so top, Riot decided it should be gone and now they're experimenting with a more marksmen-ish version, but Kindred just fall between the to chairs to the ground... again.
Their stacking I think should give them power where they lack of it, compensate to their weaknesses. My idea:
Til the first 6 stacks it should:
1st one - give a charge on the Q, so it can be casted twice in a row, like Rumble's harpoon
2nd one - give a bonus arrow to their AA
3rd one - AA range increase (this was rather good idea tbh)
4th one - another charge for Q
5th one - another bonus arrow (creating a mini hurricane passive)
6th one - another AA range increase
After these, additional stacks should give 1,5% lifesteal each.
Moreover, make W not scale from stacks or reduce Q cooldown, but give Lamb bonus attack speed depended on the number of enemy champions standing in the circle.
This rework would focus on letting Kindred build more defensive and not rely on items like Blade of the Ruined King or Hurricane so much. Their early power would give a boost to get some damage item first and then open up the possibilites for tankier ones like Frozen Mallet or Maw of Malmortius, similair to what Graves is like, and not a waste of place squishy marksmen wannabe they're right now.
