Preseason Ranked Decay

Hello, I was aware that league mentioned that they had turned off decay in preseason, however I am getting notifications from league saying that I will decay in 3 days unless I play ranked.

Is there any detail I was missing regarding the decay rules or is this something that they never turned off for preseason?
