Can one shotting just not exist?

This just popped into my head, but why is one shotting allowed. If you think about it, most of the time ADC players will do everything in their power to keep themselves alive from assassins, and still end up dying in 0.5 seconds, blowing, flash, heal, and building ninja tabis, and just get caught that one time they don't have a stopwatch or GA.

Maybe there should be some type of things that reduce damage if you take it in such a fast time, such as anything under 1 second, would only half the damage. It's just not fair.

Zed one shots me in 0.26 seconds with tabis and with clicking heal midways through his w e q combo. Next time I have GA: He R and takes out my GA, then weq kills me. Then by the time I respawn he has ult again, and I don't have GA, or anything to stop him from killing me.

These are just examples btw

If Zed one shots you that means he hit you with one auto/ability and you died. That already doesn't exist in league unless that Zed is insanely far ahead and his opponent is behind as a squishy champion.

Also what you're asking for is that assassins not be able to assassinate. If an ADC gets caught out by an assassin then they should die. I agree that assassins time to kill could use some work but I'd rather hav them do less AoE damage than anything.

Upvoted. Actual counterplay requires interaction and interplay. It definitely doesn't mean step into range, boom dead.

I agree i also hate it when the enemy adc 1 shots me from a good distance away with just autoattacks, its just so much fun

I'd be fine if "one-shotting" was actually something related to skillshots, and not MissFortune Rengar with item 3095 item 3147 Dark harvest right clicking you -_-
