Can surrender votes in nornals and aram be changed!?

Before writing this I looked up online to see if there was much mentioned about this subject, however there isn't! I really can't wrap my head around the fact that if two people don't feel like surrendering in normals, I'm thereby forced to pay longer.

Maybe riot doesn't care about my time, my experience with the game cause I sure as hell ain't even a quarter as good as LCS players... But really some of the crap I have put up with is ridiculous! In my last black market brawlers game my freaking support was lagging and dced on me.... Which was fine.. I had to solo lane ad an adc that's fine!... Another person on the team was saying they had internet troubles...also fine.. What happens after tho is intolerable... They proceeded to log back on, state their internet is fixed, and died three consecutive times.. In less than a two minute time span to the enemy adc... Even worse they had potions and didn't even use a single one!!! Like okay him and his friend is not gonna surrender and I have a life outside LoL... So why am I forced to play a 50+ minute game of catch up, just because someone decides to be assinine? Why can't 3 people vote yes.. At least in normals.. And allow us to go on with our lives!!! Half the time I don't want to play with ppl like that... And if and when I do get a really bad score I understand people night not wanna play with me!

Honestly the ability to troll the system is what sometimes brings toxicity out of me, and that's not an excuse to demean my fellow teammates. It's a reality that when people's time are allowed to be wasted on something that's obviously not even worth the effort, they get frustrated! There's nothing to do with that frustration besides either communicate how displeased you are with someone's lack of ability to play the game... Or to afk. (Sadly for this game in particular I just chose to log off cause I wasnt planning on playing further more anyways)

Both options are punishable even tho there are systems set up to avoid such both.... There's a surrender function to keep angry team mates from afking mid match, and there's a mute button for those who choose to get hurt by internet opinions .. Both of which are under utilized, underminded, underwhelming in favor of the wonderful let's report everyone I don't like at the end of the game button.

All this drama can easily be avoided if 3 ppl who don't even feel like playing any more are allowed to end a game swiftly and carry on with their daily routines. Please find it in your heart to allow 3/5 votes end games in normals!

As far as afk players go I'd say that if 2 consecutive surrender votes go without their participation a warning sign will pop up saying you must vote or else the team will decide it without you. So it would weigh the options as if there were a d/c and only 4 people. I know that's not what you were talking about I just thought of this while reading your post.

Anyway you're correct in saying that your teammates do not deserve your toxicity and I'm glad you know that and I hope you can fix this issue. I also understand the concern for a 3/5 surrender because it is a team game and majority should typically rule in this situation. I currently don't have an actual reason why 3/5 doesn't work or why it shouldn't be good enough for a surrender vote but here are my two cents: first you should make sure you have enough time for a long game of whatever game mode you are playing if you have plans for afterwards (because Murphy's Law). Second I almost never surrender. Not because I'm hard-headed or anything, but because I understand that comebacks happen all the time and when you get those seemingly impossible comeback victories it is just such a sweet feeling and makes almost everything completely worth, especially when there was that guy saying it was impossible and there was no way to win. And I think this overall mentality to not give up and keep fighting because you can still pull off a victory is a pretty good thing to have in this game.
